Noble, I get choked up reading your words, and at the same time laugh with you on the excitement of having your daughter back to her "normal" self again...one never really escapes the scars of near death as you and Kathy have and Elena being so young will most likely never recall all the awful events that took place...that is a blessing for her. I believe God puts us in situations and circumstances to make sure we understand the values and objections he has for each of us...life can be a bowl of cherries, sweet, cool and delicious but we also face adversity, pain and ugliness. It is at these times of suffering when our true colors shine and defines what we have come to learn from his strength and guidance that pulls us through. It is after the crisis is over that we have an obligation to share our thoughts and explain how the power of God has gotten us through becomes so important. Your writing here is evidence of that. I so respect and admire you now and also well before your challenges with Elena's health. Know that you have been selected for a specific purpose, that of a warrior, to be an example to others on what is most important in life. I am so proud of both you and Kathy for your committment, steadiness and consistancy in maintaining a healthy life overall. I constantly work in that direction for myself. Know that you have made a difference in my life and words will never express my gratitude for that as well as your friendships. There have been so many times you and Kathy have reached out to me, have said or done things for me that you probably didn't even realize made an impact on me. I am thankful for so many things in my life. Being able to give back, as you do, and I as do in my daily life is what is so important. I hope this helps you and gives you a sense of puropose to complete what is your God given talent and gift to the world, as you do profess yourself as a world changer. You have helped me and so many others and thanks just isn't enough. God Bless. So happy for all of your family and particularly Elena, as you have already given her the best gift a father could, you give her love and support and encouragement. That is what is lacking so much in the lives of many today in society. Never quit! as I know you will not.
